Luminance Meters

Portable and benchtop instruments for measurement of luminance to provide traceable and reliable data for development, production, installation and maintenance of light.

Luminance Meters such as the LS-150 are used to measure a spot measurement of a light, diffuser, reflector or surface and provide data for the brightness of the reflected light in cd/m2 (candela per square metre) or fL (foot-lambert), whilst instruments like the CS-150, CS-200 provide additional data for the perceived colour of the light or the CA-2500 assesses an area, panel or display as a whole also evaluating uniformity.

Konica Minolta provides calibration services for each of these instruments ensuring the accuracy and traceability of measured data either as OEM calibration, traceable to national standards or ISO 17025 calibration service.

You can learn more about measurement applications for these products within our solution pages: Signal Lighting, Light Installation & Maintenance, Light Design and Manufacture, Automotive Exterior Lighting, Lit Symbols/Switches, Consumer Electronics and more general information on how light is measured within our Language of Light resource.
