What are vision systems?
Eines vision systems are used to conduct quality control inspections during manufacturing processes. Cameras, sensors, and image processing software are used to detect, interpret, and analyse visual information, providing objective data and dependable Quality Control. The product range includes solutions for the presshop, bodyshop, paintshop and final assembly.
Different configurations are available for common automotive assembly requirements, including tunnels and cabinets specifically configured for the needs of OEMS and TIER 1’s.
A range of defects can be identified, classified and analysed, including paint defects, metrology errors, scratches and dents, etc…
Features
Designed to detect defects without needing to stop the movement of the product, systems consist of two main elements: high-resolution cameras and LED lights that highlight any imperfections. As the products move through the inspection tunnel, the cameras and purpose-built image processing software analyse thousands of photos, which are then displayed on a screen and, if necessary the system can allocate and initiate remedial action. Each installation is personalised according to the customer specifications and needs in partnership with Eines' experienced team.
