Colour Readers

Although lacking the features and versatility of a chroma meter or spectrophotometer, Konica Minolta's Colour Readers are produced to provide the most simple, task focussed experience, either comparing the colour of a sample against a physical standard, measuring industry specific Baking Contrast Units (BCU) or providing absolute data.

Each of the Colour Readers are colorimiters, using filter based measurement of reflected colour and providing data for a single illuminant and generally with a single fixed aperture.

Typically Colour Readers require careful control and preservation of physical samples and more basic processes. If your organisation requires either storage and analysis of data, sharing or evidencing of colour data with other parties, traceability for measurement data or the measurement of samples that are liquid, textured, inhomogenous, small or not opaque then consider a
Chroma Meter
or
Spectrophotometer
instead.
